Well Field Protection Fund Loan Program

Through CityWide, businesses located in the Well Field Protection Area can do what is right for the environment and what’s needed to protect Dayton’s precious resources. This loan program supports projects that reduce or abate groundwater resulting from a company’s normal business activities.

Eligible Loan Uses

• Real estate acquisition
• Equipment acquisition
• New construction
• Renovation
• Working capital

• No-interest loans
• An economical solution to environmental challenges

Loan Amount

• Up to 100% of eligible project costs

Term

• 15 years maximum for fixed assets
• 5 years maximum for working capital

Rate

• As low as 0%

Fees

• $550 processing fee plus out-of-pocket closing costs ¾ i.e. legal, title, recording, etc.

• Company must be located in the designated Well Field Protection Area.
